I'm currently working on both a dark and light theme for the new FandomDekstop skin. Let me know what you like and dislike and I'll do my best to improve it. Keep in mind some things may not look good simply because I haven't styled everything yet.
What's on your mind?

"The Doomsday Device" is the eighteenth chapter of the first volume of Star Trek: Federation Legacy, written between September and October 2016 and published on 20 October 2016 by CaptFredricks.
Summary: The USS Leviathan is dispatched to the Donia system by Starfleet Intelligence to confirm suspicions that an ancient weapon of mass destruction has fallen into the hands of a dangerous foe.

Jean-Luc Picard was a Human Starfleet officer who commanded the USS Stargazer in the 2350s, and the USS Enterprise-E in the 2380s.
Jean-Luc first served aboard the Stargazer under Captain Harry, but he was placed in command after an incident with the Klingons. Twenty-six years later, he commanded the Enterprise-E. The Enterprise was tasked with tracking down a secret society called The X which wanted to destroy the Federation. After the Enterprise had several skirmishes with a Klingon vessel called the IKS Pak'tu, in the end destroying it, the leader of The X was forced to move early in his plan, calling on a Starfleet admiral who served him.
Jean-Luc considered many of his staff to be close friends. Shortly after recruiting John Benson to replace his former first officer, Will Riker, he began calling John "number one," a nickname he had used for Will. Jean-Luc also had a flirtatious relationship with his chief medical officer, Beverly Crusher.
"The Ultimate Klingon" is the seventeenth chapter of the first volume of Star Trek: Federation Legacy, written between May and July 2016 and published on 30 July 2016 by CaptFredricks.
Summary: After Gorn augments bomb Tycho City, Luna and the Korvat colony, Dylyp Azeli and Ernie Hauser are sent on a secret mission to H'atoria where they encounter a geneticist who aims to artificially breed a race of super soldiers.

I thought I'd take the time to let everyone know about the upcoming change to the wiki's design (so far, the major changes will be done to the topnav bar, the right rail and page headers, but I plan to update the main page as well). This change is in an attempt to make the wiki look a bit more modern and professionalized.
This is all still very much in "test mode" so it may be several weeks before you see any changes. I may roll the changes out in stages or all at once (not sure yet).
Feel free to take a look at some of the changes I've already performed on the test wiki.
Please, please, please give feedback on this!
Hey y'all,
I thought I'd take a little time to discuss the levels of "canon" here on the wiki. The reason I put canon in quotations is because nothing on this wiki is official Star Trek canon; however, in terms of wiki content, we do have an unofficial canon system.
It is as such (listed from highest level of canon to lowest):
- Federation Legacy timeline (primary canon) – [hence the name of the wiki]
- Hybrid timeline (secondary canon) – [has parallels to the main timeline, but is still alternate]
- Alternate timelines (tertiary canon) – [all timelines that do not conform to the primary or secondary canon but are not parodies]
- Sexy timeline (quaternary canon) – [a parody of all that is Star Trek]
- No timeline (quinary canon) – [never acted out]
- ???
Some of the stories are hard to place (mainly the ones in the "tertiary canon" group), but this is a rough list of where they should all be placed. Hope this is helpful.
Attention all, I have decided that going forward, all pages with the (episode) tag will now be changed to (chapter).
For example:
The Price of Liberty (episode) → The Price of Liberty (chapter)
The Hunt Continues (LST episode) → The Hunt Continues (LST chapter)
I feel this change will make it clearer that these are actually chapters of a story, not episodes of a TV series.
Hi all, I'd like to take the time to talk about the chapter articles on the wiki. As you all know, many of them are incomplete, and for some time I've been wanting to finish them. Sadly, I don't always have the time to update them, but here's where you can help:
I made a blog post almost a year ago about ways to improve these articles. It can be found here.
I wanted to make this forum post to elaborate on what each article needs:
Not much can be added to the unwritten chapters (i.e. any from Star Trek: The Cartoon Series and Lego Star Trek: The Timeline Incident), so they can be left alone. I'm more interested in dealing with the ones from:

Hey all, I recently added article banners to the wiki, taken from both Memory Alpha and Memory Gamma. Since the wiki is now expanding to hold more stories than just my own, I think it's important for people to know who created the article and its contents.
The template for the banners is here: {{Author}}.
There is syntax for users, anonymous users, and even canon articles!
- Users
{{a|user|<username>}}
- Anonymous (hopefully we won't need to use this one too much)
{{a|anon}}
- Canon
{{a|canon}}
- STO
{{a|sto}}
Until now, on all articles that I've copied over from Memory Alpha, I tried to take the time to "rewrite" as much of them as I could, to make it seem less like a copy/paste. This process, however, takes a very large amount of time, time which could be better spent improving articles exclusive to this wiki. Therefore, from this point forward, an article copied from MA is fine, provided you include a link to the page's respective counterpart on MA in the "External Links" section.
I'd like to inform everyone that after much deliberation, there needs to be some rules about what kinds of articles to create, and what kind not to. Now, as you all know, this wiki's primary function is providing accurate articles regarding Star Trek fan fiction stories, so any articles with topics not relating to any of the stories on this wiki should be avoided.
Some examples:
- Jean-Luc Picard - he is featured in Star Trek: Final Voyages, so his page is allowed
- Jonathan Archer - until he is at least mentioned in a story, his page should not be included on the wiki (any references to him from another page should link to his Memory Alpha page)
I have recently deleted several pages that I felt were not relevant enough to the topics of the wiki to have their own pages (e.g. city pages, star system pages, etc.). Any links made to these pages are now linked to their respective Memory Alpha or Wikipedia articles.
Some pages, however, are in the gray area, meaning I have yet to decide on whether to keep them or not. That's why I'd like to get a consensus from the other users on this wiki.
A few of the pages in question:
- All "ranks" pages (e.g. captain)
- Planets that are not seen/mentioned in any of the fan fiction stories, but are the homeworld of a main character (e.g. Andoria)
- Ships/characters that have very small parts, or only a mention in one of the stories (e.g. SS Break Even, Gregory Yates, Rhet Dioni)
Thanks for reading, and I hope we can come to a consensus. Please leave feedback on what you feel should be added/changed for this post.
Hello everyone1 I am Jason O'Connell, from the Pirates Online wiki
I just wanted to say hello, and I like the design of this wiki. Keep up the good work CaptFredricks!
Hey all, I am now accepting any ideas for Federation Legacy that you guys may have. Leave comments in this thread telling what your idea is, and I will try to work it into the story. I am planning to make at least 3-4 seasons for the series, so I will need good ideas to keep the stories going.
I may not be able to use every idea in the story due to impracticality (or perhaps another reason), but I will definitely give it a shot! I will also be adding notes either on the episode pages or the blogs thanking anyone who lends an idea that makes it into the story.
I encourage you to read the episodes that have already been written for some insight on the story so far. Thanks, all!
P.S. If you have ideas for other stories you would like me to write, please do so. I am happy to entertain the notion of making other stories (even ones unrelated to Star Trek).
I am currently writing a new Star Trek story called Star Trek: Final Voyages, that will take place shortly after the events of Star Trek Nemesis.
I recommend Jason Fredricks as the next featured page. It is fairly complete, and is one of the better pages on the wiki.
What do you guys think?
