Christopher Pike was a male Human who served in Starfleet.[a] He was considered a "legend" of his time by Gerry Collins, and he was a childhood hero of Ernie Hauser. Ernie's parents allowed him to pick the name of their restaurant in Tycho City, and he chose "Pike's Kitchen" in honor of his hero.[1]
