Biography

Sokketh was a member of the Federation Council by the year 2401. That same year, he led the opposition to a proposal by several Starfleet officers to enter the Klingon-Gorn War on the side of the Klingon Empire. He believed that the Undine threat was overemphasized and that a peaceful resolution could still be attained.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

The following year, he resigned his position on the Council to become the Federation Ambassador to Vulcan after the retirement of Jean-Luc Picard.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

While stationed aboard Earth Spacedock in 2408, he was killed and replaced by an Undine agent. His remains were found in his home on Vulcan several months later by the Vulcan authorities. Meanwhile, his impostor had been escorted by the crew of the USS Leviathan to the Vulcan monastery on P'Jem, and it was there that the true identity of the impostor was deduced. The impostor was assumed to be killed when his ship was destroyed by Starfleet forces in the system.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

Friendships

The two shared an uncommonly close bond for an ambassador and his aide, a trend not generally seen in Vulcan culture, due to their lack of emotion. Upon learning of the death of her friend, T'Pela was quite distraught.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
